MINISTER of Interior, Lieutenant-General Abdulrahaman Danbazau, has inaugurated the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) Juvenile Centre at the Boarstal Training Institute Kaduna.

Speaking at the event, the minister remarked that the 100 desk computers donated by JAMB to the school would go along way in assisting the students in writing their Post-UTME without stress.

He also noted that the centre would go a long way in providing an opportunity for delinquents to shape their lives towards becoming responsible citizens.

“The fact that you are here does not mean you cannot make it. The JAMB is one of the many opportunities provided for you to dream big. Many students who passed through the training institute are doing well in their different callings today,” he said.

Also speaking during the event, the principal of the school, Dr Dora Ofobrukwefa, thanked JAMB for its kind gesture, adding that 367 candidates sat this year’s  UTME in the school.

Out of this number, according to her, 106 candidates obtained the national university cutoff mark, 180 candidates obtained the polytechnics and colleges of education cutoff mark.
